Class B violation
HPD's hazardous violation class: the everyday habitability problems, with 30 days to correct.
Class B is the middle class and the biggest one: pests, leaks, defective plaster and peeling paint (without a young child involved), broken doors and surfaces. The owner gets 30 days to correct and certify.
Nothing forces a Class B repair on a fixed clock the way HPD's emergency programs force Class C repairs, which is why open Class B violations age so badly in the data.
