FDNY
New York City Fire Department · official site ↗
FDNY polices fire safety: sprinkler and standpipe systems, fire alarms, exits and egress, storage of combustible materials, and the certificates of fitness the fire code requires for certain equipment and activities. Its summonses are decided at OATH, and for the most dangerous conditions it can order a building or part of one vacated.
The FDNY records here are its OATH summonses and its vacate list. The bureau's own inspection datasets froze in 2024, so live FDNY coverage arrives through the summons stream: what the department actually charged, what OATH decided, and what remains unpaid.
